Tallen Shyann Treto-Padilla Missing: Concerns grow for local woman missing for weeks
Reports reaching us at this time reveal that a woman who was reported missing in early November is still missing and concerns are growing about her disappearance. On November 5, family members reported 29-year-old Tallen Shyann Treto-Padilla missing to the McClain County Sheriff’s Office. She was reported missing from the Wayne area in early November. She was last seen leaving her job.
Based on information gathered, investigators suspected Treto-Padilla may be accompanied by her then-boyfriend, Francisco Velasquez, also known as Mike “Paco” Mendoza. as part of the investigation investigators found Velasquez has an active arrest warrant for murder out of Texas where a man was killed at a San Antonio restaurant in 2018.
Since the initial report, investigators said they received information that Treto-Padilla may have traveled to the area of the US‐Mexico border in Texas after the report was filed. Investigators said they do not know if Treto-Padilla is in the United States or Mexico.
The McClain County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bryan Murrell said, “We’re weighing on the side of she is voluntarily absent, We have no indication right now that she was taken against her will or forced to leave. I believe she may have been planning to leave with him for some time.”
